My little begger of a horse. Just goes to show that no matter what, they will always surprise you

I have had him 3 years and had more or less trouble free motoring with him, other than the odd bit of attitude. But today for some unknown reason he was the nappiest little thing going. He has never behaved like this before. To cut a long story short he decided to spin and rear (only little ones) several times before even leaving the yard. Tried various pursuasion techniques, but he wasn't having any of it.

Nothing has changed, he was with his friend and my boy was leading as he always does but for some reason got to a point and no matter what I did would not go forward. It was nothing to do with pain as was fine for most of ride and has been fine up until the last two days. He also did this with other half when he went out on his own with him, more or less in same place.

Me thinks the spring grass has addled his brain and with it comes the don't want to and shall not attitude.

Sorry for going on, but he has just been so naughty I am really annoyed with him and also amazed that he has actually behaved like such a little brat.

I betcha an alien spacecraft had landed somewhere near enough for your ned to know about it using his ned senses which we humans don't have. And he instantly sussed that they were HORSE EATING ALIENS so he was being sensible by refusing to go anywhere near them. The aliens had obviously already landed when your OH rode ned in the same place. Bet ned will be suspicious of the spacecraft landing zone for some time yet!

Oh he was def having fun

Just hope the aliens depart soon...................very soon. I know he has always had it in him and now unfortunately it has come out

He must know I am thinking of selling him........ to the aliens, not I hasten to add because of todays behaviour.

Although he would hardly have lived up to pleasant hack today. Prospective buyers would have thought I was one of the many people who seem to sell "not as advertised" !.

The grass is causing even more havoc than usual this year it appears doesn't it. If it's not high spirits then it's laminitis. Our vets said they have seen more cases in the last month than in three months last year. Flipping weather.

Might be worth feeding some Magnesium Oxide or similar?
