He's wonderful, so gentle. Reminds me of my collieXlab who thought he was one of the children. After school I placed a tray of tea and doughnuts on the coffee table for the kids. Finn waited til all the children had taken one and then quietly helped himself to the last one. I caught him mid act and with a guilty expression, he carefully put the doughnut back on the plate.
Of course, once the tray had been cleared, the darling boy was given the doughnut just for being so loveable.

My Labrador would do that. He used to snatch food. I spent ages teaching him “gentle” he now thinks everything has to be taken very S l o w...... and carefully but to the extreme which makes it funny.
