Some of you may remember the trouble I had with my mare for over 6 months after I purchased her. She became extremely nappy and explosive making her almost impossible to ride. Even with a friend walking with me on foot she was a complete and utter nightmare. Broncing, bucking, spinning, reversing, kicking out, leaping etc (All on the road - I had nowhere else to ride at the time), you name it, she did it!
I'm pleased to say that after the initial break through thread I did back in April ( http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?604997-I-flippin-Well-DID-IT!! ) she has gone from strength to strength!
I moved yards in May so now have a schooling and jumping field to ride in which has enabled us to progress further then just hacking! I jumped her properly for the first time a couple of weeks ago and she amazed me with how brave and bold she is!
I've had a young cousin staying with me for a couple of days so made full use of her by giving her my camera and telling her to take as many pics as possible. She took me quite literally, after taking about 1000 piccys during two days I have a few to share
I don't often post vids of me riding so please don't laugh to much!
CC welcome as always!
Her flatwork has really come on lately. She's much rounder in all paces (especially canter) and becoming more adjustable. I would still like her a bit more responsive but we are working on that.
Here's a couple of canter vids, one from each rein (I wanted to compare how she is on each leg). She finds the left rein easier!

Right rein - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6Ys0ijHFtg (excuse the messy bit at the end!)
We had a fantastic jumping session on Wednesday. By the end of it she was popping round 95cm as if it where half the size. She makes it feel so early and never feels like she is going to stop!
Video here of 85cm - http://youtu.be/LiLeBFmvOCg (she had a broncing fit after knocking the pole hence my cousin nearly having heart failure and me coming round to jump it again!)

I know we don't always get the correct canter lead and get a bit close to some of the jumps.....and she breaks to trot....and my leg position is awful....and I'm not folding correctly...but I was still chuffed with her, she gave me such a great feeling!
Oh and finally a couple of piccys to make you smile - Missi telling me to F'off after I touched her with the whip (she still has her moments lol!) Cowbag!

So there you have it, we've gone from being a living nightmare to now living the dream! She has taught me so much in a short space of time and I am so excited to see what the future holds. I never in a million years thought I would be lucky enough to own a horse as nice as her and I believe she has the talent to take me to where I want to go. I just hope I don't let her down along the way!
Sorry for the complete overload and gushy post!!
