Hi
Can anyone please recommend an Andalusian horse dealer based in the UK advise me if there is anyone that I should not be going through. Please feel free to inbox thank you

Go on the BAPSH website (they have a facebook page too).
You should get lots of good advice on there - both where and where not to go.

With you being a novice you might be better going through a private sale for a ready produced horse. Usually there is a reason they are at dealers yards - reasons a novice may struggle with.

If you go on the Enlightened Equitation page on Facebook you will find people with a wealth of experience with PREs. Also be careful with buying an 'Andalusian' - it can be a bit like buying a welshie 'off the hill' - just because they have the name doesn't mean they are a good example of the breed

I've also just read your other thread (after I replied here).
PRE's are very sensitive and I think you need to really need to know more about them and their nature before taking the plunge.
There are some very knowledgable people who will be able to help you make a judgement as to whether this is the breed for you. Definitely go and ride some before you take the plunge. Remember, dealers are only interested in selling a horse - not many of them are interested in ensuring that they sell to the right person. Also, if the horse is being sold from a yard that doesn't specialise in Iberians, then I would definitely give them a wide berth.

Would defo suggest going to ride some Andalusians before you buy one. The couple i've ridden are extremely different to any other horse i've ridden - which is something I didn't expect (I expected a difference..but not such as vast one).
