Andalusian horse branding whats this symbol?

On my search for a new ned have also found an Andalusian mare, she is branded the branding is like an s with 2 lines at the bottom, does anyone know what this means, or what any of the brandings mean? She is supposedly registered with all paperwork.

It will be the brand of the stud she was bred at, there are 100s of different brands

So that would mean she was probably bred in spain then? Do they have different brandings for part breds and full breds? am trying to read up on Andalusians as she has really caught my eye and seems very genuine at a very genuine price.

Each stud has their own brand and I believe they brand all the horses bred there whether part or full.

She could just as easily have been bred here as breeders in the UK also have their own brands. What does her passport say?

My Boy has a Z on his backside. Bred by Jose Zafortesa Delgado. Discovered the other day whilst bored at work that his GG Sire is Fuegos (WEG superstar) G Sire.

The passport will tell you who bred the mare and you can get on the Spanish Studbook and look at her ancestors etc etc.
