I can't help but wonder whether this means that Matine will never be seen in competition again. I can't imagine that he would leave if he had the chance to ride her in the WC this or next year.....
I'd heard she was broken too, not coming back to competition. the person who told me said "too much too young"... enormous shame, she was the most amazing mare.
Didn't she have some sort of accident coming of the lorry somewhere? I'm not sure went or where but I thought it was last year some time? I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong though!

What a shame, she had movement to die for. My Danish WB is by Blue Hors Don Schufro and sadly he was pushed too far too quickly and has had to be retired aged 7 with DJD of both hocks, such a waste.
she damage to the tendon connected to the fetlock bone (suspensory ligament) and therefore she was not fit enought for the olympics but there is a planed come back
