When I was younger he used to be based at Caradoc Court near Ross On Wye, we use the gallops there.
He stared at me a bit funny too, when I asked him if I could 'jump his jumps'(whilst he was jumping them himself).
Was probably more than 10 yrs ago now, nice bloke though.
