not been on for a while had to back track to find out about stamford horses..take my hat off to you for seeing and doing something about this and also a big well done to all who got involved.
I have been following these posts from the beginning - starting with the HUGE original one with the most posts ever!
Just to say, well done everyone involved, it's amazing sometimes how powerful the internet and these types of forums are.
I hope someone is going to keep us updated on the horses' progress and I really hope, although they are old, that they do have some months/years ahead of them yet cared for as horses should be as, as those who saw them in the flesh said and from seeing the pics they didn't look like they had given up quite yet!
I would just like to echo everyone else's words! Andy and Chloe, you are really wonderful people. You started the ball rolling by posting on here your concerns, even though you are not horsey. And in true HHO fashion , the amazing people on here got to work and saved these two horses, who now, I hope, go on to live the rest of their lives in comfort and peace. Well done, and thank you to all of you who got involved, you truly are amazing! But especial thanks to Andy and Chloe! x
Ditto everything that has already been said. Huge thanks to Andy and Chloe for bringing this to everyones attention, and to all the troops who swung into action resulting in such a speedy removal of thse ponies.
Andy and Chloe: A great inspiration to all of us to stand up for our beliefs and keep fighting. And great to know that there is a huge body of people who will support you (HHO'ers) if the fight gets difficult. Everybody on here seems to have slightly different views on many subjects but there's one we are all agreed on - we hate horse abuse. Maybe we can use our combined efforts when the next neglect case happens and force the 'authorities' to act in the decent way sooner rather than later.
An enormous ditto to everything that's been said here. Andy & Chloe, to have gone out of your way like this to help these horses is extraordinary and an example to us all not to turn a blind eye, whatever the situation might be. A heartfelt Well Done!
This is the first chance I have had to post on this subject but I just want to agree with all that has been said in praise of Andy and Chloe. You are truly angels, those poor poor horses owe their lives to you.
A truly magnificent effort by all HHOers - well done and thank you!
