Andy Heffernan lessons

Sure I'll be shot down but i just did not like his manner of teaching at all.

May just be me, but said I'd been jumping x height, but lost confidendence hense the lesson, half way through i got the comment along the lines of "no wonder your not jumping x height any more"

Not very confidendence boosting to me!!

I trained with him last season and love him - but agree his style might not suit everyone. He really got us jumping to a level I would never have dreamed of a year ago, however he has a no messing approach and wont take any sh1t!! He tells it like it is so you have to not take it personally if he tells you that you are doing something badly

Def recommend him though!

Agree with ozziwozzy, his style might not suit everyone. He is very straight to the point and quite technical. He is very good though. My friend was a working pupil for him for about 18months/2 years (now runs her own yard where me horse is) and she got alot out of it and has had some really good, consistent results.

Sounds great, def prefer instructors who tell it like it is rather than what you want to hear!

My horse is only a youngster so sounds like it will be great for him - thanks, will get it booked
