Andy update from friday night.

well he walked out fine again this morning & there is no heat or issue with using it so i put him out for an hour or so & he spent it galloping about like a total dipstick with his tail in the air & screaming like a banshee with random stops to look at me & rear/buck & charge off again, went to check he was ok & he was so full of it bless him.

thanks for the get well vibes they seem to have worked wonders for him.
