Tomorrow= Big descion day! Atm its a yes but got a lesson with instructor so we'll see what she thinks :D

Little monkey leading him in from the field he nipped my bum, I was in biege joddys so I had to walk round for the rest of the day with a brown mark on my bum and go to coutrywide, you gotta love horses

I've managed to squeeze in some little rides after college on Monday and Tuesday and wednesday had a nice long schooling session as it was my day off :D

He's been fantastic, he had his first spook with me and didn't bother me very much at all but his trot is already getting better, I think from the boys he hasn't done much trot- it was either walk or gallop :p

So I've been doing lots of exercises to get his trot better as it felt like he was going upwards instead of forwards if this makes much sense? So lots of transitions and leg-yielding and shoulder ins and it seems to be lots better.

But big question, he's very reluctent to move off my leg, it improves very slightly after doing various exercises with him but not greatly so just wondering is it worth using a pair of dummy spurs with him? And I'm running out of schooling exercises so feel free to add some of them.

Also booked in for our first competiton  haven't decided what height to do yet but we can swap heights etc up to it, atm I'm thinking 2ft6 as he isn't that fit but as its a month away he may be slightly fitter by then :)

So aims if we are keeping him next year:
1. Get him hunting fit so we can go hunting towards the end of the season
2. Get him eventing (he is going to be absolutly amazing xc)
3. Get him BSing
4. Do a bit of polocrosse
5. Get 60% in a stressage test

And here are some piccies, I know he needs a lot of muscling up but weight wise he isn't too bad, I would like to see a bit more covering but when hes muscled up he will look better :) But he does look shiny! :p

Sorry he wouldn't keep his blinking head still :p

Oh and I know I said Iw as going to take a little break from HHO, I decided against it mainly because it is to addictive and because I can now post without angry shaking so I thought it would be save :D

I don't wanna give my hopes up incase he fails the vet or something horrific happens tomorrow :p

Must admit though can't wait to get the clippers on him and de-fluff him!!

Mmmm definite signs of Andy worming his way into your affection I think:)
Clearly he is extremely clever, and has worked out what a great future he would have with you.

Looking forward to video (hope it stays rain free for you.)

He has, its when I was poo picking and he followed me around the field like a lost puppy bless him!

It has to stay cold free aswell or it will freeze again and we won't be able to tow, but if it does I'll have a lesson on instructors horse which will be fun aswell :)
