Angel K stallion

I havent owned one, but i have met one. He was a fairly large 5yr buckskin gelding, that someone at my yard had bought cheap off a dealers field. That should have been a bit of a warning really as it was being sold backed but unridden for a while, but no-one would get on it for them. Im pretty sure he was bred by Limes farm in Folkstone and they did have a photo of him on the website for ages.

It didnt end well and was eventually sold thru project horses, prolly not what you really wanted to read but we were all swooning over his good looks and lovely tempermant.

OMG!!!!!!

Dany.... I bought that horse!!!!

I saw Leonardo on the project horses website and fell in love with him. I travelled all the way down from Scotland to see him, liked what I saw and brought him home.

Now, a year on, he is doing brilliantly. He had severe issues with being saddled and ridden at first- saddle fit was a big factor, and we had a wolf tooth taken out too.

We used Parelli to gain his confidence and trust, which he responded really well to.

My boyf trains with NZ olympic rider Caroline Powell, and she liked him so much that she asked to buy him. TBH although I bought him to sell on, he is so lovely that he is going to be with me for life!

Leo is now registered with BE as "Dun Misbehavin" and should be off to his first Intro at Hendersyde this August.

He is out in my paddock as I type this, fat, happy and chilled out with his two "girlfriends"- my appies Jazz and Tammy.

I tried to contact Angel K/Appolo's owners for a stud card with no joy, and his breeder at Limes too, again with no response, although I did get hold of the owner of the two foals that he (accidentally)?? sired whilst at Limes.

Any more info or pics would be very much appreciated,

Claire

This is Leo's first (probably accidentally sired) foal. Maybe just as well Leo is a gelding now, eh?!

That is Leo's pedigree on allbreedpedigree.com- what a useful site that is!
