I’m sure this has been asked before but couldn’t find what I was looking for. I know it is meant to help with hormones and good for mares and can also be used for cushings.
Ive just read a article that studied horses with cushings and found it did not help at all with their levels or symptoms.
Only reason I found it was because I’m debating to try it on my Shetland. Gelding to be precise.
Does anyone use it and actually see a difference at all either in symptoms or levels if they aren’t on meds?
He’s been off his meds a few months now as the aggression kept rising with every dose increase and after a few years on meds getting worse it was crunch time.
After long discussions with my vet it got to the point he was either pts as dangerous and really unhappy as were his herd mates or I leave him off meds uncontrolled and let him live what time he has left happy. He is happy now as are his friends and he’s back enjoying driving after a long break.
So just been looking into any natural supplements that may help him.
Thanks
