Animal behaviourist or communicators

Having some issues with a horse . Can you recommended anyone like a behaviourist or communicator who could help? I don't want to send the horse away as a/ I don't have enough money and b/ he has only just come back from schooling and his behaviour is now even more erratic. I think it upsets him getting moved homes. I'm willing to try anything.
 
I am sorry you have having problems with your horse. Has he been seen by a vet? Many behavioural issues are caused by pain and no serious professional behaviourist should agree to work with a horse that has not been 'cleared' of physical problems by a vet first.

Now the other thing is that you are asking for recommendations for two completely different things. Animal behaviourists are trained in behaviour of horses and apply a theory to modifying behaviour. There are many different approaches out there, from positive reinforcement, to natural horsemanship, to instructors who give groundwork lessons, etc. What kind of problems are you having? What kind of approach do you think would work best with your horse.

Communicators claim to telepathically read a horse's mind - save your money.

I know there is a difference I'm just broadening my horizons on possible things or people to try. He does not have particular problems more like problems between me and him communicating.
 
The Intelligent Horsemanship Recommended Associates have some training in behaviour, and reading a horse's body language - and you know they have attained a certain standard http://www.intelligenthorsemanship.co.uk/specialist-horse-training.html - they don't all just do join up :) Worth at least one visit if there is one not a million miles away from you, many are very reasonable as far as fees go.
 
Thank you for that he is a tricky horse who I think is on a completely different wave length to me so would be nice to know what is actually going on.
 
I got to this point, I had tried everything and ironed out vets/back/teeth etc. I didn't know what was wrong with the horse, just something wasnt working between us. I was going to sell him because I felt we just didnt suit each other, then my friend recommended 'Clare Metcalf' aka- Free Spiritual Animal Care.

Ive never EVER been a believer in this sort of stuff, I do a lot of competing and just didnt believe how it could work. Safe to say, the stuff she revealed was true, and I dont know how she did it. The pony has been like a new horse since that day, he even went out and came joint 1st at Breckenbrough BE and his Dressage is just totally different!

Ditto this. I had an IH person help me with mine when he wouldn't load and she got the blighter in and loaded in less than 10 mins when I'd been struggling for two hours.

IH associates IME have the right approach and "read" the rider/owner as well as the horse, which is important for the both of you.

Would deffo recommend you go this route. You've already taken the first step, which is recognising that you need help..........
