Has anyone ever used an animal communicator...someone who 'talks' to your animal and then tells you what they are thinking / feeling / needing?

I have been told some interesting stuff about my horse by his previous owner who contacted a communicator about 6 months after I bought the horse as they wanted to resolve some issues they were feeling about having to part with him, and wanted to see if how he was doing. This particular person uses a photo to connect with the horse, rather than seeing the horse in person.

I'm not really a sceptic and I do like to keep an open mind on most things, but am obviously aware that the world is full of charlatans that prey on needy people.

Any views / experiences welcome!

Thank you x

As some mediums can work from a photo or an item belonging to a person it is possible the same can apply to animals.

Yes but the mobile phone the person is 'chatting' to the horse on doesn't belong to the horse...surely you would have to post something that belong to the horse to the 'medium' in order for them to give a 'reading' I would suggest a water bucket, mainly for comedy value.

I would steer clear of giving any of these sort of people your hard earned cash, if you think there is something wrong with your horse get a qualified person to look at it be that vet, phsio, EDT or (if you are so inclined) a NH person that has studied with a well known trainer (and not just learned to hit horses with a carrot stick froma book!)

I have had an amazing experience with this!! I sent a pic of my 2 girls, i got an incredible reading back, some stuff about me and my girls this lady couldnt have guessed at was spot on. This lady lives hundreds and hundreds of miles from me and knows no-one i do either! It was amazing!

I had 10 questions answered by the lady on ebay, she works from a photo.

It was all pretty simple stuff, but the answers certainly appeared to be accurate, and were quite specific rather than sweeping generalisations that could cover a number of possibilities. She also mentioned two specifics which although pretty inconsequential, were spot on accurate.

I have an open mind about these things.

I had a commuication done by a lady who came to the house, made an evening out of it with friends.

I had to take a photo, and then she asked his name and age.

A few things that she said I was not sure about, but she named my previous horses that I owned etc, and even my dad's name, which was a bit wierd.

A couple of things she picked up on from previous horses that I didn't even tell her i had:

I had a previous horse that was a shiverer, and she said that she saw him with a farrier, with his leg shaking! How did she know that?

There was a horse trying to say hello to me, name starting with letter R, said couldn't think of one, then she said she trying to say R O O, I had a horse called Roo! Spooky!

Also had another called Robbie, who was also there trying to say hello, she never said his name, just said that he had a bad hock, she said that I probably didn't know that cus he was ok when I owned him. Funnily enough, I spoke to the man a few months after he had been sold and he said he had gone lame in his hock and had to have injections, so I knew it was him!

Had another horse that I still had at the time of reading, she never said her name, just that she could she a horse violently shaking her head. Knew straight away who she was on about, cus the horse I had was a headshaker!

Said loads of other stuff as well, too much to remember to be honest.

She discussed how my current horse was feeling etc, and if he had any aches or pains. She is not a vet so couldn't prescribe or really tell you if there was anything wrong, she just advises.

Told my other friends about it, so then arranged another night at my house.

The lights fused twice just before the animal readings started, it was a bit spooky, cus our house doesn't generally fuse the lights, and not within minutes of each other.

I did enjoy the evening, other people enjoyed it more than others as they were not 100% convinced of what they had been told, but from the readings I had, they were probably 75% correct.

have you got this ladys' contact details?

thanks

I believe it to be a complete con, these people should be prosecuted.............. haven't horse owners got enough to spend their money on in keeping a horse rather than wasting it on listening to someone's rantings over a photo they've neen sent.

I had a reading done from a photo after recommendations for this particular lady on HHO, and I can honestly say that not one detail in the 'reading' was correct. She had his age completely wrong, the amount of time I'd had him, his character ........ everything was way off. I can't remember what I paid - £25 I think - which she offered to refund me. But I didn't take the money back as she was obviously sincere.
I can think of better ways to waste my money though

I have nothing against people who use animal communicators........but I personally think that it is a load of bollocks.

But then again I am a cynical old cow

What a total CON!!! bunch of crocks!!! or bunch tree hugging theives!!!

Sorry, but if you have issue with you horse, Invest your time and money in a 'good horseperson' to come up and view you and your horses and it will get sorted properly

Have you even seen Darren bloke on telly or The Hussle programme on BBC3???

I have done this.
Was only £30. Much less than all the bloody antibiotics and other drugs I was buying for the dog and some of her suggestions have been very helpful. She did not suggest any medical treatments, which I appreciated.

She didn't get anything wrong and it was an avenue I was prepared to go down in sorting out an issue with my animal.

There is an animal communicator on here, who did a reading for me for free, amazing experience. Sent her a photo of my mare (and me, which she thought might be a problem) she could tell me lots about my current mare, and then had the unfortunate experience of appearing to get very muddled and confused
frown.gif
However that was not the case, just ended up communicating with the current mare and two others who we had had who had died at home
shocked.gif

One of the phrases she said one of them had used was one which as a family we had always thought she would have said if she could talk!
Absolutely fabulous experience.

I have never had animal communicators working from a photo but I did have Sara - see link attached to see my horse along with about five other horses at the livery yard I keep him at. http://www.reikiuk.com/reiki_midlands.htm

She was very good in so much as she told me about my previous horses that I had lost and mentioned that there were five horses in the stable with us when my horse had his reading (the number I had lost). She also mentioned my chestnut mare (my first horse that no one on our yard knew anything about) and that she was saying hello to me. I didn't even know if she had passed to the other side as we sold her in 1987! Then she mentioned that I was giving my horse five supplements but I had stopped giving him one with the burgundy lid (Red Cell - I had stopped giving him that the week before). She told me he had been loved by one other person who he still missed from time to time who was a woman (I happen to know his past history even though he was an import) so this was true. Then she told me a cat and a dog were in our stable and the cat wouldn't sit still but it was a she cat. When it sat still she told me it was black. We lost the dog three years before, but the cat we'd had put down in about 1982 after owning her as a stray for 19 years! then she told me one of my previous horses had come to say hello, he said "sorry he didn't get to say goodbye but he had to leave me suddenly - he had a tightening across his chest "(heart attack and died whilst being turned out). My other horse that had died (my favourite) said he had wobbly legs (wobblers syndrome). Very emotional for me, very upsettting but nice at the same time as I know there is life after death. I was almost sure until that point that there was but this put the sealing on it, and now I know there was. It was a nice feeling, but like I say it was emotional (as I knew it would be as I so much wanted to hear from my previous horse Rommy - with the wobbly legs). I was convinced 110% that she had been communicating with not only my present horse, but also my lost horses through my present horse. Can't recommend her enough. I have her again later this month.

Angelbones, some animal communicators find it easier to work from a photo, as they can find a quiet time & place to focus in on the horse, whereas on a yard there is often movement, noise etc etc to distract both them and the horse.

I haven't heard of anybody who uses a piece of tack or an item belonging to the horse to connect with them, but mediums who work with humans use this method, so I don't see why it isn't possible. There are far too many "spookily" correct reports of things that the communicator couldn't have imagined/guessed/extracted from the person for there not to be something in it, although I guess the most hardened sceptic won't ever see that.

There have also been some scientific studies done on animal communication, something which I hope to be involved in researching over the next few years. I can dig the paper references out if anybody would like to see them.

I have a wonderful friend who is an animal communicator. I 100% trust her and she is by no means a con.

I met her through having her out to my horses, all she knew about them were their names, she was amazing, 100% spot on with all 6 of them.

She has been a life line to me and my horses over the last 6months. By no means are all animal communicators con artists.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

Kick-on, I only started thinking about all this when the previous owner of my horse passed on the reading results to me yesterday. I must say that I was quite stunned how accurate the reading was in relation to my horse's personality / hang ups / past etc. I hadn't considered going to someone myself. I don't have a problem with my horse thankfully but was still interested in the reading results. I think that if you go to someone who does this sort of thing in the hope of getting a problem solved then you are open to disappointment and misdirection, but if you go with nothing other than curiosity and nothing you are going to hear is going to change the way you care for / feel about your horse then I don't see what's wrong with it. I've spent enough money in the past on rubbish saddle fitters, crap farriers, lousy back men to learn that you don't always get the result / service you want no matter how much you spend. I may take a punt and see what this person has to say about one of my other ponies and I guess that'll maybe clarify for me whether it was just a fluke or whether there may be more to it all. Personally I find this all fascinating, and the various replies don't seem to fall in one camp or another. Of course this would all be resolved if we all got what we wanted: that our horses could talk for themselves!

I used Sara Coppin years ago for H - omg! She was completely correct with everything she said - even down to saying that she had sprained a ligament around her ankle in her right hind! (She was later operated on to cut her anular ligament!) I even showed it to my vet who was completely staggered as to how she could know this?
She told me so much about H - and it was all true - things that noone knew (ie that she used to team chase)
Wierd - but I think that there's something definitely in it
smile.gif

In fact I think I'd like to do it again!
