after seeing a previous post about animal communicators i would love for someone to come see my horses and see what their really thinking, been thinking about it for ages but just never did anything about it.

anyone kno the nearest one to the scottish borders???

Animal comunicators = con artists who play on owners sensitivities toward their horse. If you want to waste your money then that is up to you. Your horse would probably prefer you to spend the money on a few bags of feed. Horses have no concept of death, they operate by instinct, mainly driven by food.

We as a yard about 8 of us sent some tail away to a lady in devon we all started calling her the witch! she told me my boy was clingy he is only 5! and to feed him chicory (sp), that he hates his stable mate leaving him he shows this by standing still or eating hay!! he is short sighted on the near side! That a couple of muscles in his neck hurt could this be that we have just started to ask him to work in more of a outline!! That he has had a knock to the head just under the forelock. I feel it was well worth the £25 i paid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not

The others all got the same kind of feed back the only really "strange" thing was she said one of the horses wanted a straight bar instead of a snaffle which the rider changed and she is now going ike a dream

I think it really is a case of pinch of salt and buyer beware!

i respect ur opinion, but pretty well stocked up on food ATM :P

its my opinion that it would be very interesting to see considering it worked so well for a close friend of mine.

we had a animal comunicator in and it really helped. its up to u if u beleave in this sort of stuff or not but i would recommend to have one come and see your horse, the only thing is dont tell them anything about the horse apart from its name lol. and keep a straight face because some are fakes and play on your reaction.

A friend of mine has had A/C done with her horse and it was certainly intresting - I was intrested in having it done with my (rescued) horse a while back, but couldn't find anyone local In the end, I had a few sessions of Reiki instead - which is vastly different to A/C I know - but I found it beneficial. If I found someone trustworthy locally, I'd definately give it a go.

Its like anything, if you go in with your eyes open and are sensible about it, I think you are far less likely to get conned. Whether people believe in it or not, is an entirely personal choice. Not much help to the OP, I know!

There's http://www.horselistenerscotland.co.uk/

I totally didnt believe this stuff until people I knew said she was pretty amazing. I let her look at one of my horses purely out of interest to see what she came up with. Some stuff was actually pretty spot on I have to say! The odd thing made no sense to us, but to be honest she said some stuff which was totally spot on (which she couldnt have known, ie. it wasnt general). I dont like believing stuff like this and still believe most are cons, this one probably was too but she was damn good at it, I just treat it as a bit of fun.
