Ive just been looking about for insurance for my older dog he is 10 and ive come across the above. They do all kinds of insurance even horse and rider, they even do one just for accidents for jake it would be just £4.34 a month.

Seems too good to be true anyone use them or know of them?

All my animals are insured with them, I was recommended to them by the rescue centre I got my dog from. I pay £69 a month for my two dogs and pony. They gave me a 10% discount for multiple animals. They also don't have this annual limit thing with claims.

I like the fact they give a percentage of their income to animal charities.

Haven't needed to make a claim ( and thats the proof ) but the dealings i've had so far have been really good.

Forgot to say one of my dogs is 7 and after he's 8 the pay out for claims is limited to 65% but imo thats still ok as the premiums for a new policy for older pets can be huge and I can fund any shortfall as required.

I have used them for the past four years for my cats. They are really very good, and nothing was a problem when I had to put through a huge ongoing claim (over 3k) for one of my boys for his cancer treatment. When he did pass away I received a letter from their founder saying how sorry they were to hear the news (okay, I know its comupter generated but still a nice touch).

They are really very good, and what I like about them is that their profits (or a portion) of go to animal charities.

I don't think they're anything to do with E&L - although I know they did have to change their underwriters a couple of years ago as they weren't happy the arrangement.

I have all mine with NFU and for 4 horses , 3 of which I compete on plus my dogs x2 I pay £82.

One of my dog is 9 now and since he was 7 I have been claiming for his arthritis. So far they have paid out for all his drugs, all blood tests (Done twice a year) Xrays, a MRI (Which was over £1000) and he goes to a specialized rehabilitation center for hydrotherapy and laser treatment twice a week during the winter and once a week during the summer, they also pay for the fuel to and from the center.

I find the NFU pay up quickly too
