Have any of you sent samples to Animal Genetics? I know they say results within 5-7 days but just wondering if anyone has had results any quicker? I'm impatient!

I don't think that you need to worry overmuch about the results. The pic that you posted of your prospective new purchase, though indeed a useful type, is not a Connie :).

ETA Though I see that part breds can be affected, so you are wise to get him(?) tested, in case there is some Connie blood lurking.

I recall that the test took 3 or so weeks when I had it done in 2017, but maybe they've speeded up their turnaround time since then. Mine was for PSSM, though.

Good luck with the vetting later today :).

Thank you! Yes I'm hoping I don't need to worry!! In the hope she passes - what do I do - tell them I need to wait for the results anyway?! (They are happy to keep her until results come back)

Despite what everyone is saying about her breeding (and I agree) I would - there's no point having the test and not waiting for the results. Better safe than sorry and all that.

They took payment last Thursday so they clearly have my sample - fingers crossed I hear soon. I'm checking my emails regularly!
