Anky Dismounts in Holland, not by choice, bless her

Aw shame, perhaps she asked for it to be removed?

Anyhow, hors spooks at the audience, and begins a long bucking and humping session, she sits it right the way across, about 30metres but finally comes off in the corner, and apparently she bruised her knee and cracked a rib.

Poor thing, expecially with all those people, a full arena, every wall with tiers of seats.
 
Poor Anky but it is comforting to know that even the world's best riders can fall off on the flat too!

Apparently the horse hadnt been ridden for 3 days, and the commentator had been 'egging' the audience on so the atmosphere just got too much for Nelson when they entered the ring. Plus they didnt get long to warmup either.

Luckily Anky just had some bruising, as it couldve been quite a nasty fall.

Ive heard its on YouTube, but i couldnt find it on there the other day when i looked.

Tuesday, October 16th

After Anky's fall last Sunday during a clinic at a Dutch event, Anky is not in the saddle yet. Nelson bucked her off in the beginning of the clinic. There was a second enormous applause and Nelson couldn't be warmed up because of the very small warming-up ring. Than he started bucking and Anky lost her balance after 8 buckings.

Anky: 'I hurt my leg and ribs. My leg is better today but my ribs and muscles in that area still hurt. I go to the Finland Horse Show on Thursday to give a clinic. If I compete IPS Krack C, is a little uncertain.'

Having seen it what crossed my mind was that he wasn't too bad to start with, then she gripped with her legs (and spurs) leading to said dismount./
 
Gosh that was horrible, i can't believe people were laughing! My mare does that too sometimes, but i can't stay on for that long!!
