Well Sharron my groom from the US goes home tomorrow after 2 months of getting my mare Anna fit and schooling her. For those who remember I bought Anna and imported her to Norway from UK just over 2 months ago. For those who do not know me I have an illness that prevents me from riding well, thats why I need the help of grooms to make sure my horses are ridden more regulary than I can manage and to a higher standard than I can.
Anna was under weight, had no muscle and still had some winter coat 2 months ago... basically she was in bloody awful condition. We have worked hard, fed her quality food and given her lots of fun time out with my other two on quality grass and I am so happy with the result.
The new groom from Sweden is due tomorrow and I hope she keeps up the good work Sharron has done with this fantastic mare I am so lucky to have bought.
I rode Anna for the first time yesterday and wow I adore her to ride, she is fab on the ground and has manners to burn and I am going to do my first ever dressage test on her in Nov (I am nervous lol, but I have my new togs waiting and Sharron said she will be checking with my hubby to make sure I entered).
I hope you think there is a change for the good and here is the pics I have promised a few of you... Please forgive the crappy synthetic saddle as you can see the weather was bad so we left the leather in the tack room
