I have two collies and a elderly ckc, one collie has a sensitive stomach the other goes hyper on certain food (supermarket stuff) all are on wrainwigths 7+ even the two yr old collie as it has added joint stuff and helps to keep his weight down which is good for his hips.

Now I'm spending £30 a week in food for them and I trying to look for others but I end up getting back to threads on here saying what I've been recommend is crap.

These are the two I've been told to try.

Cudleys (two people I know are on this including two working dogs)
Skinners by the local feed store.

I am not set up to feed raw and after a previous dog nearly died from a raw bone splintering I am.not eger to do it again.

Thank you all, this dog food stuff is hurting my head

Both foods you mention strike me as low quality, but if the dog does well on them, then that is what counts. Not sure how you're spending that much weekly on Wainwrights. Do you mean the trays? My 20kg springer gets a tray a day plus bits of raw, 12 trays is £9. Have a look at the Dry Dog food sticky at the top of the board for ideas, but if the food you choose suits the dog (and it isn't horrible supermarket stuff, look at the ingredients closely, the carcinogenic ingredients aren't mentioned on the box!) then feed whatever suits budget/is decent.

For some reason the trays make my older collie have severe diarrhoea. So it's the little pouches and the dry. Dry isn't so bad as the big bags last, the pouches the big collie gets two and the little collie one and a half and the little ckc gets half a one twice a day with a bit of dry biscuits as that fills them up enough that they aren't asking for more and gettin grouchy but doesn't put weight on.

The sticky is confusing to my dyslexic brain at the moment, ive tried and to read it and under stand but it's not working and the words are gibberish :(

If you can cope with the colours, just ignore the writing and look for green or Amber as good foods.

You might want to look at Natural Instinct trays/pouches, too.
