She was 4th after dressage with one of her horses, but was eliminated XC with her other and then seemed to withdraw from the XC with her other ride after that

I think she had a fall on her first horse then pulled out after that, so bad fall?? Or she could have decided that the ground simply wasnt good enough,I know she fell then withdrew

I saw the fall, she was just unseated, it was an unfortunate fall really. I think she will be fine, she just appeared to have landed a bit dodgy on the hard ground. But she got up Ok and walked off the course. Perhaps a mild concussion or something - just sufficient for the medics to say you cant compete?

Didnt she fall at the one from last, on landing, and then they withdrew that fence from the course? I think she was the first to go so was a bit 'unfortunate' that she got the worst of the ground.

No that was Daisy Dick on the 2nd off last.
RE fell early on in the course, not sure what th ejump was called but it was the bank up to a big log a few before the vicarage vee. Such a shame, would love to see her get one of the big ones, she's a very nice rider but always seems to miss out on the top spots.

Ah thanks! I didnt see it and someone else here had said that they thought it was Ruth but wasnt sure. Poor Daisy. I like both Ruth and Daisy and it was such a shame for them both.

I`ll find out for you as my friend and YO is a very good friend of Ruth`s. Ruth rides Digby`s Choice which is my friends event horse she also rode Classic Wizard for them as well before he retired.

Yes Ruth is a very nice person and have met her on many occasions, she use to keep her horses at my friends yard a few years ago and it was very interesting watching her at work.

We were very sad that the BBC didn`t even interview her before the XC,

Thank you. BBC said nothing about her and I obviously missed her round (was helping paint a new foaling stable!). Was very disappointed as I love her riding. Have been following her since she has been competing her youngster Simba as he belongs to someone just down the road from us.
