Another Bedford lorry question

After speaking to mechanic today, I have to try a couple of things to see if they will resolve the brake warning light coming on.

I need to check the brake fluid levels and have been told it's on the passenger side. I think these are shown on the bottom right of the picture, but can anyone tell me what the little white container in the middle of the picture is please?

And if anyone can recommend a Haynes-type manual that would be great to save me asking silly questions .

Bottom right hand corner of the picture, Two white/transparent cannisters with black lids, these are the brake fluid reservoirs(a daily check incidentaly).If the caps have no wires going to them ,then this is not the cause of your warning light ,even if they are low.

the main white bottle is screen wash, there in the right hand bottm corner for the brakes

Thank you. I think they have wires but will check in the morning. Just trying to eliminate some things so I can go back to the mechanic with an update.

Ok ,firstly ,is there fluid in both reservoirs up to at least the minimum level (marked on the side of the reservoir.).If it is below,then this will set off the warning ,assuming the warning system is still conected (it often isnt). It is hard to tell from the picture but is the front one low?. The thing to remember is that it is not merely a case of topping up the fluid ,you need to know why the level has fallen. This is why they are a daily check ,not because the usualy go down ,but because any sudden change in level indicates a potentialy serious brake fault.
