atm go showing in a jointed pelham

for showing someone has suggested a straight bar/mullen mouth pelham do you think she would go better in one and she sometimes backs off the pelham?

I suppose if you think about it there is no nutcracker action with a mullen mouth or straight bar pelham so in theory they may be a bit milder (correct me if I am wrong). If she is backing off the pelham have you tried the bottom ring of a dutch gag?

If it's 'showing' most judges would frown upon a dutch gag. I saw someone get scolded at a local show for having one just today.

The straight bar is suposed to be milder than the nutcracker, so I'd try that one. You could also try changing to an elastic or leather curb incase it's the chain she dislikes?
