Another clipper Q. Wahl Avalons will work thorugh the transformer/charger, but not otherwise holding charge.

Okay, so for my horse's face and twiddly bits, I would like to use my old Wahl Avalon cordless, but it drops charge within a new minutes. It does however run like a top plugged through the charger/transformer yoke into the wall. Can I clip like this without blowing myself up?

There appears to be an adaptor you can buy to run them through the mains:

I remember I had something similar to run my Lister Liberty's through the mains.
