Firstly im afraid my report will be not be a exciting or funny as Figjam or Davesmycat but here goes.

My weekend started with a Coo, myself and Dug (my JRT, sorry Baydale not my oh or brother ;) ) heading off to Smurf’s in the lorry for some x country practise at Lindores. On route I did have a momentary wobble as it was blowing a gale and thinking am I mad. We were all so busy singing along to Tina Turner greatest hits on the journey up. (only tape I own and lorry only has a tape player, Dug’s favourite song is Simply the best but im not supposed to tell anyone!!) that we missed the flashing lights on route to the Forth Road Bridge but after a minor panic I noticed the next sign said it was only closed to double decker buses. Phew!!

When we arrived x country it was actually lovely weather wind had dropped and the sun came out, the ground was perfect. The coo has grown up so much this year I don’t like to jinx it but im very excited, we all had a little play over the little ones and popped a few ditchs, this time last year we hadn’t worked out ditchs and he didn’t look at one!! Big grins, smurf went off to jump a big trakehner and im not competitive or anything but thought if she can jump it so can I, I did have a moment cantering in thinking oh god that’s a little big but the coo jumped over the moon (trakehner!)!! Popped a large narrow corner behind smurf and a little play in the water. Finished on a high!

Saturday on route home we stopped off at Snec for some BS as having just got around to registering us I was keen to get jumping, we have just been on day tickets all winter. I have never seen snec so busy. I was just about to go into the ring when my friends mum came running up holding Dug asking If he was mine, he had been found rabbiting around the car park. These dog owners that cant control there dogs eh or owners that must have been born in a field! (i must not have shut the lorry door!) She kept hold of him for a little longer and managed to jump a clear round, waited hours for the jump off but unfortunately had two poles down both on related distances… x country mode maybe. Very pleased as he gave some lovely feeling jumps. I have a lovely photo thanks to the lovely Measles.

Sunday was our team chase admittedly I did go to get the coo in from the field and he was standing looking very sleepy but woke up seeing the x country jumps and teams of horses galloping about. I want to thank Figjam and Daviesmycat for such fun, it was sust brilliant experience. Im off to write to Wisemans dairy now for sponsorship what do you all think???!!

Here are a couple of photos that Mr Figjam took, thank you to him for running around taking them and being team trainer!

After our busy weekend I thought the coo could get a couple of well deserved days rest out in the field but found him standing very patiently at the gate waiting for me this morning! :D

Lovely is not a word often used to describe me :D

Well done on all fronts and what a super grown up bit he has decided to be for '12 :) :) This must mean that the rest of the previous weekend's xc party, A and Quadro, are due super clear runs at their first outings, too???

I took Basil Russell on Sunday to RC to be resident dropped food hoover for the day in Dug's absence. He was a very good terrier so Dug might have to compete at looking endearing for scraps from now on! :D

Oh I don't know, I think it was a very funny report - Cow jumped over the moon and all that ;)

You also win the prize for most exhausting weekend, I think. You managed 2 competitions, 2 different XC courses, 3 different venues, 2 different disciplines, all in 2 days, and one horse! I was tired just reading it :p

Well done to you and your co-coos. Sounds like such a fun day (or weekend in your case!)

Love the reports and your horse is BEAUTIFUL!! Its great to see huge smiles all round!

Thank you, he is very sweet some of the time, when he is on side!! ;)

Measles, dug will be furious when i tell him!! I bet Basil was better behaved at SNEC and not going off on his own!

NLm, im still exhausted today lol!! Hopefully see you out and about soon! :)

YAY fab pics and i love the hat covers :D Tina Turners greatest hits is also the only tape i own, a patient gave it to me enough said ;)
Really pleased for you and you better go over all the big ones on Sat :D

Aha! The full set of reports now :). It sounds as if you all had so much fun, fantastic and well done for pushing outside your comfort zone. I expect (hope) you're all very proud of yourselves and your horses - you should be. Possibly not so proud of your Dug dog (bad boy, rabbiting in the car park, tut tut :D)

Love the BS pic. He's grown up so much over the past year, I'm very excited for the coming BE season for the pair of you. :D

If only Dug had been there snapping at my heels on Sunday I might've speeded up a bit and we could've got a better time, eh? ;)

Thanks again for nannying me! :)

I love your horse! I've just replied to DIMCs thread and yours is every bit as entertaining. Wisemans will be proud of you ;)

That's a cow pony who looks like he means business this season!!!
That's an exhausting weekend just from reading!!:)
Think I'll need to get in on this "Wiseman's Deal" too! :)

He looks more grown up and confident every time I see him! What a fab weekend! Bet you cant wait to kick off the season properly now, yay for the coos!
