Another driving question......

Hello.I have a 15.1 cob who has a fused bone spavin and i would like to drive her but am concerned about whether her spavin will be aggitated again by her being driven.My hubby would like to drive her also but he is worried because he is not a lightweight fella he does not want to put her in any discomfort.I am not use to being around smaller driving horses as always driven Shires.So any help would be fab.Thankies.

SHould be fine. road works toughens up horses legs and as driving horse should have no weight on their back i wouldnt worry. Just take same precautions as you would riding if your worried
