Another E Bay problem

On the 14th July I saw a saddle on E Bay which looked just what I wanted. The seller had used her I phone to put it on. I asked her a couple of questions to which she responded quickly.
I won the bidding, at a price I feel was right on her reserve. I paid immediately through Pay Pal. Saddle was due to be delivered by Thursday. I sent her an E Mail after winning the auction to say where the saddle should be delivered if I was not in. I had no response and have heard nothing since, including no saddle. As she has an i phone she must have ready access to E Mails.

I sent an E Mail today asking if it had been despatched and when. Again no reply. E Bay has also contacted her but to date I have had no follow up. My belief is that she was not happy with the price I paid and is not going to send it. I know I will get my money back from E Bay eventually but I will be really annoyed if she relists this item.

Is there anything I can do to push her into fulfilling her part of the contract? Needless to say she will be getting rotten feedback if the saddle never arrives.

Will E Bay penalise her in any way if she has failed to honour a winning bid?
 
You cannot force the seller to send you the saddle. You will be able to get your money back via either an Ebay dispute or a Paypal dispute & you will also be able to leave feedback regarding your dealings with the seller.

It is very annoying when this happens, I've had similar happen to me but the seller cannot be forced to send you the item. They should have put a reserve on the saddle if they wanted a minimum amount paid.

The saddle did have a reserve and that is partly why I am annoyed. Why put a reserve on if you are not prepared for it to be sold at that price?
 
It's not really been very long so I wouldn't worry for a few more days yet. I often struggle to get boxes big enough for saddles so the seller may just be un-organised and I still be trying to find one.
