Another e bay scam

Thank you H & H Forum. I've been looking for an equitrek trailer and saw this

Looked just what I wanted, contacted seller who said he would accept £6500 to buy it now. Well that's at least £5k less than its worth!

Searched the forum and found details of similar scams. I contacted the seller.

Surprisingly I am not able to go and look at it. He is hard of hearing so can't talk to me on the phone. Just says send the money and he will deliver the trailer. I have asked for the chassis number, says he will send it me tomorrow. He has sent me loads of pictures and I have found them all on google images. Wonder where he'll get a picture of a chassis number from.

I have tried to report this on eBay, but no joy. There are 20 bids on this and someone is going to lose money on this. What can I do.?

Report it to ebay thats all you can do for the moment or put something on facebook warning people, someone tried to scam me the same a few months back you can trust no one sad really.

Can you ask an awkward question or two eg 'why are these photos images I can find on Google'

The 'original' pics for this trailer seem to come from a site who's contact details are in Surrey... Not kent.... I'm sure u have found the company who's pics these belong to. PM me if not

I got in touch with the original seller. The guy who offered it to me did not have the trailer. We have now had it removed from e bay so at least that's one less person to be conned. Just how many more are there on eBay?
