We got to BE...... secretary freindly - always a good start
grin.gif
but phases were spaced out and i forgot to pack push bike.................
Warmed up lovely for dressage - a little fresh one could descripe him as............... nearly had me off twice in warm up, as you where ask by steward to warm up next to xc warm-up, just before you when in for test..............
At this point the only thing i could do was smile cos 'the toad' just wanted to jump................. but in fairness to him

i thought we did sweet test and luckly so did judge - 35.7, but she did comment that he was a fresh and ready for jumping!!!!!!!!

sj - as per normal warm up was horrible, knocking poles off not listerning.... then in arena again very fresh giving everything lots of air, not pretty but effective so clear

xc- again how quick can i get on course please steward????????? By the time i was going around, ground condition where defo boggy in places, but it was near end of day so, hay ho that's life....
Set off smartly had good look at 4, took the alternative and was slow through water complex but rest again flew and being a flying machine, so clear and it was defo faster that before, but still picked up to may time faults....

BUT he was a total SUPER SPUD

before xc times when up looked like we were in places but turn out not, but he improved again and it's only his 2nd BE (and got double clear) so i'm very happy with him and left him wrapped up in cotton wool in his stable, with all his mates asking him what sort of day he had...

thx for reading, at this time of night defo cup of coco but something a bit strong for me

Excellent day had then!!! If I had to warm-up next to the xc warm-up my dressage score would have been at least triple yours!!!!

YAY, well done hun, i thought of you yesterday as i saw loads of horseboxes on the way to the yard last night
grin.gif

Big pats to Super Spud from me!!

See you tomorow x

Good stuff, welldone you must be really chuffed

Sounds like he enjoyed himself, no doubt once hes found his feet a bit you can kick on xc - to be fair a lot of people on Tues were getting time faults xc, I think the ground slowed a lot of people down.
Goodluck for your next outing!

S_J - not at mo hubby took camera but he was at water complex so i think images may be of 'How NOT to do water complex!!!!'
he's taken to it like a duck to water

well done. what level was this?
last year i had to warm up next to xc and my horse was wild literally rearing and bronking and i got a warning from one of the stewards!!!

i was doing Intro, i didn't mind - as all in his education for this horse, and it's only his 2nd outting at BE and 3rd even proper ODE - his normally used to BD warm-ups
grin.gif
grin.gif
and they don't normally do airs!!!!!!!!!
grin.gif
well planned ones
cool.gif

But when he's a 'tit' i laugh and the bu88er has to work longer and low straight away!! i've been taught to use the extra power
wink.gif
, some times it works, some times he's bolted!!!
blush.gif
but he is getting better
