in Germany again...Will this sinister series of fatal accidents ever stop...?

They're hostile enough in Germany to eventing, can't see this doing the sport any good over there. Absolutely terrible accident again.

They used to be absent from the sport but German event riders have really gained a lot of notoriety these last couple of years...

Jees I can't believe that this is another new post regarding a rider that has lost their life

Tragic and such a sad loss.

what the hell is going on, there seems to be an event rider dying every week at the mo. Another tragic loss of life

, but a lot of events/horse trials are going to take place everywhere in the UK AND

in the rest of the world in the coming weeks and months: Let's hope all riders and horses enjoy a safe round everywhere

It is inherently a dangerous sport, but "statistical clustering" means that extreme events can often appear together.

This is so awful, it seems to be happening so much of late, it must be terribly awful for the family, my thoughts go out to them, so sad, i really hope this stops

Yes, well I know quite a few people feeling the same way around here and in other parts of Europe...

As far as I'm concerned, UK is THE ONLY country in EU with a genuine equestrian culture, acceptance and understanding of eventing as a sport...
