Another feed question, got me thinking!!

Just read a post about feed and agree its a minefield. My mare can be very forward going not too excitable but I want to try and get more containable, workable energy.
She is currently feed on spillers slow release cubes, top spec feed balancer and molli chaff show shine but is this giving her too much.
Just read that feed with more oil might make her a bit more fizzy. Was also looking for something to make her look coat look good and shine as I would like to do a bit of showing with her.
Any hints, ideas, suggestions if you managed to get to the end of this post.

I thought oil was an ideal energy feed for neds like yours J? It's slow release so not an instant sugar hit!

I think some problems with oil may be caused by it being energy dense. So if you feed a lot of oil then you will be feeding a lot of calories even if it is slow release.
