Another 'Great day at Crufts' post

[Paint Me Proud]

Competed at Crufts today with my 4 year old Large Munsterlander Loki.

Despite breaking my foot on Monday so needing a friend to run him for me (Loki has never ever been shown by anyone other than me and he is very clingy!) he managed a really pleasing 3rd in Limit Dog (out of 10) and 1st in Good Citizen Dog (out of 4).

He retains his Good Citizen Dog title that he has held for 4 years now!

So proud of my boy, doing his best in less than perfect circumstances.

Well done - he's gorgeous. Crufts always makes me feel broody. Me and my Bernese Mountain Dog watch it every year - he loves it! Having recently lost my Border Collie I feel doggy shopping coming on....

I was the one hobbling about and Loki was the dog who slipped his lead in the ring to come back to me!

it was quite funny. Loki has only ever been shown by me so when the judge had gone over him and wanted to see him move my friend took him to run. She only got half way up one side before he slipped his lead and came trotting straight back to me. He just couldnt understand why I wasnt going with him! He's such a mommys boy

oh Loki isnt mad you see He is really really laid back so he wasnt a problem for me at all.
