Do you ever wish you could just have a pony from 12hh-13.3 that you could just borrow for the day and just go out hacking to have fun, and have a blast and do all the things from the other hacking post below post below, and just return to your childhood - even though i am still in mine

yeah i wish it all the time,

I fence judge at our yard sometimes and some of the ponies that go whizzing past i think.. ooh i wish just for a day i could have a go on that one!! lol

My boy is 13.3 and we have a blast some days! At new yard now so haven't hacked yet but am planning on going for a little pootle out on Saturday!!

My 21 yr old 14.2hh is sort of like that - put it this way, he gets the adrenalin going. He's naughtier though now than when he was 8 (when i got him) and I don't think i'd have the balls to ever dare jump him again - I like things more sedate and in control these days!!

I do that anyway, on our 12.3 nf x he's like a pocket rocket and I'm nearly 46

I couldn't ride till I was 40!

Every single time I hack out with my kids I wish I was that small again and could whizz around on the 13.3, up the banks, through the lowest trees, bomb across fields. I have a 13.3 who I may have to find an new home for and I've been thinking exactly that: he needs to go to a home with a petite adult or older teen who wants to ride around the farm, checking sheep, jumping ditches etc, having a hooley, but adults that small are hard to find it seems or they are all 'horsed up'. My groom is tiny and she hunts all 3 of our 13.3 ponies and has a hoot, but she keeps saying she's going to get labelled as the woman who only ever rides ponies! I should be so lucky..!

No really because Bodey is just an over grown pony really anyway, and i do all that stuff! Plus I can always nick Badger (who is 14hh) for a bit. But I do love ponies!
