Another *headdesk*

Poor little thing

Without giving more information on the dog's longer term prognosis - eg how bad is the foot deformity etc.. I cant see them having much luck

It seems strange that the vet is supporting them so maybe things arent as bad as they seem (or they never took it..)

I suspect the puppies ended up poorly and and deformed because theyve let related dogs breed!:(
Poor thing TBH sounds like the kindest thing would be PTS. It would be interesting to go there to view the pup and see if there was any other reasons to report them as they dont sound like responsible people.:(

A Staff and a Lab? Also depends how closely related/how far inbred as to deformity and health issues.

Tbh sounds like the kindest thing is to have the pup pts, probably not going to have much quality of life.

If I bred a litter of pups, I'm sure I'd want and would try to give a chance to a pup who was blind, or had a deformed foot, or a possible life-long heart problem. I imagine it would be horribly hard as the breeder of a litter to just cast aside an imperfect pup. I would want to at least attempt to give it a happy life with myself, even if that involved extra work and a lot of lateral thinking.

But a pup with all three of the above? And then to expect some unknown person from Gumtree to take on all that, and provide a decent quality of life? Sorry, no. The kindest thing would be the needle. Poor puppy :(

I'm with you Pix.
I did try to see if there was puppies advertised in the same area to see how much they sold the healthy pups for but not had any luck.

That's awful, if the breeder wishes to give the pup a chance then they should take care of it, not guilt someone else into taking the pup & vet costs on.
