ok so i know different factors can stunt a horses growth but if you catch them early can you rectify this, if a horse at 2 yrs 6 months is 15hh could it possibly reach 16.3hh 17hh as an adult ?..... string test and other tests all come out at 17 hh and very long legs still, but only standing at 15hh, could it be that due to a bad start shes going to have stunted growth ?

so much conflicting advice, most people say theyve grown 90 % when they are 2 etc.

anyone have any late developers etc.

yep, we have a little mare that was a rescue and in foal at 2, she continued growing until she was 7 and grew considerably over the latter years. I was shocked as thought she was going to be about 12hh, she stuck at that for ages but is now around 13.3 and I am not convinced she has stopped yet.
