Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for 15.3-16.2 for myself and my daughter; something middle weight as I am 5ft 10 and long of log predominantly for me to hack and have do some flatwork and pole clinics etc with and for her to do pony club with. Must be able to hack alone and be good in traffic due to where we live. Don't mind mare or gelding and open on breed but something that can live out is my preference. Budget is currently up to 11k . Willing to look anywhere in England and possibly Wales. Scotland is a little to far. Open on age but would prefer nothing to young or green.

I have messaged the seller of the grey ID x as he does sound exactly like what we are looking for.

We are not actually that for from the dealer advertising Cookie. I have heard some mixed reviews but he may be worth a look. Its close enough I can take a very experienced and appropriately qualified friend with me. That's somewhat harder when the horse is several hours away.

Having bought one that was lovely but to young and green, and ultimately too small as she didn't grow as much as expected (she is now in fantastic home local to us) and one very sadly we had to return to the dealer almost immediately after purchase as he was not fit for purpose I am being very cautious this time.

I thought the ID cross looked the type of build you want and he looks like an honest sort who wouldn’t be a nutter… if he was 15 hands he would be my type except for the colour!!

Proceed with caution, I am quite local and haven’t heard anything good
I'm curious about some of the yards with multiple horses for sale. Are these what in the US are called "horse traders" (buy cheap, put a few weeks or months of training in, and flip for 4x the price)?

Hi

We are still looking so if anyone spots anything suitable please let me know. Now looking more 16h plus and definitely more middleweight ID type.

Many thanks; budget will stretch to 12k for the perfect horse :)
