Another horse?

We are dithering.

As we pay for the yard not per horse, and make our own hay another horse wouldnt cost us much more than the ones we have now.

Have spotted a SUPER four year old at a fab price.

Would you go for it? Or not?
 
Its the shoeing and insurance plus things like injections when I notice another one - we have our own yard and haylage too. Also I notice that I don't spend as much time riding each horse - tend to do shorter rides on both horse, and quite miss going out for hours on one (always feel guilty if I don't ride on!).

In your situation I'd have a certainly highland x andalucian yearling being picked up by Gillies ASAP! :D

JFTD For goodness sake "JUST DO IT". :D :D I've only read a couple of threads so far, there is definately a theme to them. And he is,

To ALPHAMARE same message really, In your position, Why wouldn't you? I'm sure I'd go for it. BTW you have got it made "Lucky, lucky lady." :) You Haven't got a vet in the family as well, do you? That would just be too unfair on the rest of us poor mugs. :D :D

PS: if it's any help, a friend of mine knows the sire and grandsire and says they throw superb Highlands in general...
 
Don't worry no vet in the family! And if it makes you feel any better I have got some serious health issues. Life isn't always as lovely as it seems :-)

I guess I am just trying to be sensible as I don't NEED another I just want one. He is so handsome though!
