a pal of mine has a sec c x she has had him for 2 years he is 14.1hh hunts and loves it,loves xc and is very bold only thing is he is rather sharp so would be more of a teenager ride than a childs pony.

She did advertise him at 2,900 without tack but has had no interest so she is willing to drop to 2k.

Do you think she is nuts to lower the price he is in perfect condition she works at bramham and is an equine dentist,so she knows what she is doing and has done a cracking job with him,i just think its too soon to lower the price.

what would you pay for a pony like this?

do oyu know i dont have a clue lol i will have to ask her later when she finishes work he about 6-8 i think im sure she got him as a 4yr old.

Sounds like he might also make a nice small adults ride as if he a C x then he might be chunky. Price seems reasonable as long as he has no other vices and is sound.

Have you tried putting him on the PC website?

Well i think that is the problem, good for adult riders... limits the market for a 14.1hh pony, at this size everyone wants easy to ride with good track record. I would say £2k is more like it.

he would be fine for confident teenager who wants to do xc and hunting he is just not settled trundling round an arena he wants to hunt and compete and loves it.

If i could afford to keep him i would have him in a shot.

i think 2000 is very reasonable with some tack and rugs. At his height, he would suit a young teenager or child so he would have to be reasonably quiet, due to the fact that he isnt 100% i think thats a good 'asking' price

You would be surprised at how many teenagers want a whizzy fun jumping pony.

A good pony club pony goes for about £5k upwards so a less experienced one with potential should be able to get £2.5k if it could be a potential competition pony.

he is actually on horsemart just found him and there are 2 vids of him on youtube.
