Yes, another one! How much weight would you expect a 13.3hh connie to be able to carry comfortably?

I'm 10stone and ride a 14hh connemara.

ny 14hh connie happily carries 14stone with no issues and infact does not seem to notice the weight at all he very happily bombs up hills at a mad gallop and is always in the front. He is however the old style of heavy connemara, very chunky (affectionately known as the tank at home). He is also a mature, fit pony who knows how to use himself properly.

i heard a rule once that for native ponies a stone of weight for every hand of height was a good rule.
