My friend did a horse "swap" with another friend, but its not working with the new one and all parties have agreed its best to sell as she is overhorsed and her friend is very happy with her end of the swap (occasional pootle about on a lovely but arthritic/navicular cob).
16hh chunky cob, Clydesdale x, nice looking bay chap, 7 years old but green. Good active mover. Good to hack but not impressed with school work and he tends to back off and chuck a buck or 2 (although with firm, consistent, clear direction he does improve, but he's rattled my friend and her wobbly confidence can't cope).
He can be bolshy to handle, but again, clear, firm handling where he knows his boundaries and they're stuck to, and he improves. No problem clipping or shoeing.
My friend thought £1500 but I must admit I think this is way overpriced. What do you lovely lovely HHOs think? Have some mince pie cake and pear cider!
