Hi all,

Posting this in competiton section as that is really the liveries I want to attract!!
I have a small private yard, and have 2 boxes that we have recently built. So here is a how much question, how much would you pay for these facilities in Clitheroe, Lancashire? :
20x40 newly resurfaced floodlit outdoor
12x14ft IAE internal stables - rubber matting
All year turnout
Mon-Fri: mucking out 2x per day/t/o/bring in/hose off.
1 bale of shavings
All hayledge
We have offroad hacking straight onto the fell where you can ride for miles.
Yard supervision 24/7.

So its pretty much a private yard for someone, as there are only my 2 horses there also- one retired!

Thanks everyone!!

Ok so I'm guessing you are basing it on per horse , also it only includes haylege not hard feed or feeding at intervals and only livery during the week .

Currently I pay £42 per week which includes :
use of XC course
Use of 80 x 20 school
Bringing in for farrier/vet
Grazing all year round
Daily checks on horses in field
Huge amount of hacking
Hay/haylege

Obviously your horses will be stabled and the cost of bedding will need to be taken into account etc.

If it was me I would only pay £70 max. a week as any higher would not be affordable for me . However I'm sure some HHOers will disagree and say higher but you need to make sure you can attract liveries that can afford the prices ! I used to be at a yard that included feeding , stabling etc - full livery and paid £90 a week but people were always looking to leave so they could go somewhere cheaper , and usually they would leave after a few months of either going part livery or doing DIY as people are always looking for ways to save money .

Hope this helps
