7/8yo piebald 16hh ISH type. Competed all riding club activities, jumped DC BN on tickets, placed local showing, always placed coloured classes. Real little XC horse, never stops,very bold brave and scopey jump, always in the placings, fast clear rounds. Teamchased INT 04-07, hunted regularly,clear and placed ODEs, is ever improving in his flatwork, has no vices- easy to shoe/box/clip/hack etc etc. real little gentleman, and just incase there is anybody out there who does not know what he looks like

6-8k How come you were in Horse once? I lost the issue, but remember it being something about him having something wrong, would that lower his price? Are you selling him?

if you found a good little rider he would be worth around 8k, but he seems a little hyper when jumping so it may be hard to sell him. in which case, you can always wrap him up in bubble wrap and send him in the post to me

Hmmmmmmm you say he is a real gent Rosiie but he, to me, is VERY quirky and only very experienced riders need apply

He may not ever buck someone off with intent or malice (hence being a gentleman) but he isn't straightforward either

As for pricing him, well he would be different prices for the different markets. If you did want to sell him I would try and sell him as a TCer as he really does excel as that.

TBH I think you might have to search to find someone who would want a quirky ride who you have said can be a little dangerous at times (I think...may be wrong but I think it was you) as he is so fast, so I would be thinking 3-5K max. Not sure how much a good TCer goes for, but I know that a lot of people will only pay big money for something sensible.

Having no aff track record and 'ever improving flatwork' at 8. Iwould say 3-4k, especially if he is quirky. Good hunters do sell well though so tha would work in his favour.

17hh piebald gelding, rising 7 years old - By STANHOPES DIDDICOY out of a TB mare. Hunted a full season by a lady with the Warwickshire, would make a nice gentleman’s hunter also. Impeccable manners, safe, sensible and 100% reliable over all natural obstacles.
Also lightly show jumped and schooled well on the flat. Easy to do in everyway, clip, shoe, load, catch etc - Totally vice free. Hacks out alone or in company in heavy traffic. Sad sale of such a real character on the yard.

I am sure that you are not thinking of parting with your beautiful boy - you need your head examining if you are.

However, the person who would be interested in a horse like this would, IMO, have to have very deep pockets. He's not something I would let go for under £10k. Quirky or not.

I think he is the type of horse who will appeal to ome people, people with the same interests as you Rosiie, but would terrify others!

As a hunter or TC'er, even XC, a lot of money!

As an allrounder, not as much because he can be quirky and isnt for the novice rider!
