All experiences of Amtrust Equine as a horse insurer welcome please

Particularly looking to hear from people who have claimed from them in the last 3-6 months. I have experience of claiming 3 years ago, when they were first set up, but not recently.

In my opinion they pay up very quickly. I've never had any problems at all.

Thanks. No issues with them losing paperwork or having no record of phone calls etc?

So far have only heard one not-so-good (wouldn't even call it a bad one) experience compared to at least 50/50 with other insurers...

No, they have always been very good. Also, when my horse has had exclusions on, after a year they have always removed them for me. Which is not the case with some of the other insurers.

From the experiences I've had they have been very professional.

They were absolutley brilliant with me.
Paid out very quickly and this was about 8 months ago.

I am still with them and have no intention of changing

They were very understanding and quick to pay up when I had an injured horse.
