We have recently had the vet out for a different issue and they pointed out she drops her right hip in trot and she is a teeny bit lame but not noticeably. The vet thinks it is slight arthritis in the right hock, this is highly likely as she is 16. They recommended finding a supplement and always making sure to warm up and cool down very thoroughly. I am hoping someone can recommend a supplement that isn't ridiculously expensive but will help keep the arthritis mild. I am thinking something with MSM and glucosamine although I have heard you have to have chondroitin in as well for the glucosamine to work?
Also has anyone had any experience with Kentucky Liquid Joint Supplement?
