He is safe now, Thanx to a lurcher forum, I have secured him a foster home, he has been living outside of someones back gate, literally sleeping on the pavement for 2 days, and when brought into the vets had serious wounds (dog attack) so he luckily escaped the dog warden, as needed treatment, so he comes here tomoorrow for a week so I can settle him and stop his tail bleed as he has bust it with his non stop wagging.

Oh Cayla how can people do these things? He looks an absolute sweetheart. Those eyes go straight to my soul. I hope he has a lovely life with forever owners.

He is a real happy little fella, Im just glad he escaped the pound, I spoke to his foster mummy today and she sounds lovely, so hopefully his life will be better from now on. (I will obs secure him the best hoem I can and he will have back up now for life)
The area he was found in, was horrendous:(

I saw him yesterday & posted the link in Brownmares thread! He is gooorgeous. If I didn't have a bossy little turd of a male terrier, I would've have been interested.

Well done you for getting a fosterer, hope he finds a wonderful permanent home eventually:)

It's a fab site, I rehomed Walter from there (the pup chucked from car) have rehomed a few more lurchers from there too, I will def do him justice in the homing stakes:) I really want to find him a good stable home

Oh he is stunning...reminds me of little Bernie (those that remember him?)
Poor wee mite, glad you will be in charge of his welfare from now on Cayla.

Awww, bless him,, poor little s**. I never know what to say to these posts,, guess words can't explain it. It's always a mixture of feeling really angry and frustrated, followed by being thankful that these poor dogs have been lucky enough to find someone to help them:),, followed by being sad again for the ones that haven't:(.

Good luck to the little chap, hope he is forever happy:D

Aww, Im glad you all like the little fella, im actually quite excited for him to get here, not for me, but for him, Im taking him straight over the huge enclosed field near me and letting him have a good old romp around with mine, 3 weeks in a cage as he has been in the vets much be pretty **** for him.

Oh my goodness he is a lovely boy. Thank god you do what you do - I would want to keep them all safe forever myself but I guess you do the next best thing. Good luck with his fosterers, hope they reward him with a fantastic happy life from now on :)

Both he and Walter look like the sorts of dogs any one should be lucky to have in their life, how people take these animals for granted and throw them away like objects never ceases to amaze/sadden me!

I'm so glad he's going to you. I fell for him after blazingsaddles posted his details but sadly a bit too far from Oxfordshire :( Hope he finds a fantastic home
