well thats all relative to where in the country you are. i only pay £20 a week and we're not on a top class yard but i would trust my yard owner with my horses life. thats whats important to me...
In my part of the world? -nothing bar a stable and somewhere to turn my horse out. I'd expect to do all the work and pay for all extras myself at that price.
In winter i pay roughly£30 a week for stable, use of all facilities, haylage and bedding. we dont have winter turnout as such but a little paddock so they can stretch their legs.
In summer mine are out all the time so i only pay £17 a week, thats not including any hard feed.

I used to pay £40 a week for just stable and field, it was close to home and was good for what it was. we had a small school, ok hacking and the fields were not to bad but had barbed wire.
i would now expect better facilities for that money.
S Wales/Hereforshire border - £26/wk DIY, includes
Stable, shared turnout, bedding, space in tackroom and storage loft, use of washing machine, 20x40 floodlit school, good set of SJs.
Beds/Bucks borders £25pw diy. Storage for hay/straw/feed and a tack locker. Good individual turnout, farm hacks and a 40x20 floodlit school with a good surface. No services provided by yard as it is on a farm with a non-horsey farmer but one of the liveries provides services on as as required basis. Fields/fencing etc all well maintained by the farmer and you manage your grazing to suit you.
i would expect good grazing, stabling, arena, tack room, feed room, and hay/bedding included too at the least. i pay £20 pounds a week diy and have all that except hay/bedding, and i love my yard.
I wouldn't expect anything other than a stable and turnout and possibly straw for that price. If I was paying £30pw it would have to be a decent yard with a good menage and access to hacking.
£25/wk - American barn, own tack/feed room, school, individual post/railed paddocks, SJ & XC course, good hacking. Bedding/hay/feed extra and YO to help out (@£10/hr)
It actually amazes me what people expect for £30 a week. If I take all my bills business rates, water, electricity, maintenance, school lights, school rates, insurances out of £30 I would see around £10.00.
Over fifteen years ago I used to pay £12.00 per week DIY, yet people still expect the same prices and our overheads (for a properly registered business) are now huge. I charge £45.00 a week, that does including feeding, turning in and out and straw but nothing else and have a waiting list, it would not be worth doing it for any less. I am on the Lincs/Norfolk/Cambs border.
