Another livery yard question

Well a follow on from my last thread really. The arena is apparently being sorted but now i have realised i don't like it there. Pony never gets to go out and is getting stiff, I cant ride and I'm not getting on well with the other people. I really miss my old yard and if there were any spaces I would go back. It does flood though and with all this weather recently i can only assume things will be worse now and in the future. :( I don't know what to do now, I would like to find a yard where me and the pony will be happy. I miss jumping and schooling and I miss the people at my old yard a lot. I don't even know why I'm so against current yard now but I find in the morning I have no enthusiasm to go, where as i used to get excited every day at the thought of going to see my gorgeous pony. (Sad I know :D) Any suggestions? Should I try and find a new yard, persevere with current yard and hope I will cheer up if arena is fixed? Or do I wait for a space at my old yard and go back when I know it floods? (there might not be a space for a while though) sigh...
 
He seems not unhappy where he is, but he does get turnout which i know he loves. To be honest usually I am happy where he is happy. I feel currently he is not getting everything he needs i.e interaction with other horses, space and exercise. But maybe I am being over dramatic :)
 
Is there not any other yards you could look at locally?

My advice would be to not rush into anything. Take your time and weigh up all the options you have available. You don't want to keep moving around! I speak from experience lol :)
 
Yes you have to be somewhere your pony is happy - but you also have to be somewhere YOU are happy too - and not having a decent arena to school and jump in, which it sounds is what you enjoy, means that you can't enjoy your pony as you should.

It does take time to get to know people, so i wouldn't move based on the not knowing the people, but the facilities would make me go and see what else you can find.
