I noticed a couple of people commenting on their horses going loopy on Baileys lo-cal.
Can anyone clarify what type of behaviour occurred?
I bought a Connie in April as a companion/light hack . he is a brilliant companion, a joy to handle, but rather spooky. His previous owner (openly) sold him because of the spooking. Having spoken to the owner before that regarding some soundness issues, she was a bit put out that the horse had been sold on and rather surprised when I said it was because of the spooking.
He was fed lo-cal by the owner I purchased him from, and i have continued this, but wondering if i mighthave rather more sedate hacks without!
He had a 2* vetting when I bought him, so his eyes were checked then. Back, saddle, teeth, bitting have all been sorted.
Obviously, any pain from his spavin might also be contributing.
Any feedback very welcome
