Went out for about an hour today, along the road, through the woods with the bluebells, which was beautiful! Donovan was testing me a bit more today, he was jumping and spooking at everything!! never mind, we need to learn together!!
Then it was back to the yard, he has been bathed, scrubed shaved and plucked, and the carriage has been shone to an inch of its life! tack is all cleaned, ...can you guess its our first competition tomorrow!!!

 
Its called a world cup class. its over about 1km, and has 3 or 4 obstacles, like water and a bridge, and then sets of cones. There are 3 rounds, the first in the morning which is a practice, so not timed as far as I am aware, then 2 timed rounds in the afternoon.
We went and had a practice a couple of weeks ago, and donovan was fine, as though he had been doing it for years, not a matter of weeks!!!
 
I'd love to have a go. They used to teach driving at my local college and I will forever kick myself that I didn't sign up xx
 
Absolutely fine at the moment!! Touch wood!! I think its tomorrow that is going to test it to its limits!! Thanks for asking.:)

Ps- my back really kills me in my old Bennington seat, I just can't get comfy... My new one is just wonderful! It's the 'sporty' type- will PM you a pic if you want to see which one, and I don't get a twinge at all in it :)
